Gunn Strokes 5 Hits Friday, May 8th, 1970 A big day at bat for Jim Gunn of the Evanston HS Surf still ended with a loss. The Evanston HS second baseman did all he could do, going 5-for-6, but it was not enough to overcome the Kenosha HS Monarchs. They triumphed over Evanston HS 13-12 at Marauders Ballpark. Jim Gunn singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
