Cicero HS's Nava Sidelined for Season
Saturday, May 9th, 1970
The season is finished for Omar Nava of the Cicero HS Shamrocks. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Shamrocks reliever suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the La Crosse HS Potros. Team doctors said it would take at least 5-6 months to heal.

Looking at his season stats to date, Nava has 1 save in 13 relief appearances with a 1-0 record and 3.86 ERA.
