SL2 Announces #1 Player Award Tuesday, May 26th, 1970 Juan Morin went on a season-long hitting spree against Conference 2 pitchers and captured the Most Valuable Player Award for 1970. The Novi HS center fielder battered the opposition for 67 hits, 17 doubles, 2 triples, 6 home runs, 54 RBI and 57 runs scored. He hit .414 and posted a .559 on-base percentage. Adam Thompson of the Canton HS Gorillas finished second in voting, while Brendan Schulteis of the Green Bay HS Princes finished third. |
