Atherton Raps Cicero HS for 5 Hits Thursday, April 2nd, 1970 It was a great day at the plate for Jeff Atherton. For his O'Fallon HS Horned Frogs, the day was not nearly as good. The shortstop collected 5 hits in 6 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Cicero HS Navigators snatched the victory, topping the Horned Frogs by a score of 8-7. "Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," Atherton said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right."
