Hawthorn Goes on Rampage Against Marksmen Thursday, April 2nd, 1970 Green Bay HS Princes second baseman Danny Hawthorn really lit up the Racine HS Marksmen with a 5-hit barrage today at Hound Dogs Stadium -- a performance that sparked the Princes to a 20-4 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Danny Hawthorn hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, walked in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
