Turner Strokes 5 Hits Saturday, April 11th, 1970 The Waterford Township HS Sky might think twice next time about pitching to Queenie Turner. At Field of the Silver Saints today, the Canton HS Red Dogs center fielder burned Waterford Township HS pitching, going 5-for-6 in a 13-9 Canton HS triumph. "When he's on his game," Canton HS skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Queenie Turner flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
