5-Hit Game for Fink Thursday, April 16th, 1970 The 5th time is the charm -- at least for Matt Fink. The center fielder for the Schaumburg HS Super Scavengers hit the milestone today against the Arlington Heights HS Riot, helping his club to a narrow 10-9 victory. Fink finished with a 5-for-6 line at the plate. "Fink was a tough out today," Arlington Heights HS manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one." Matt Fink doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 9th and walked in the 10th.
