Poor Goes on Rampage Against Sky Chiefs Friday, April 17th, 1970 It was a magical day at the plate for Duluth HS Tyrants first baseman Roger Poor. The 18-year-old Poor helped lift Duluth HS to a 17-7 win over the Taylor HS Sky Chiefs today at Yard Dawgs Ballpark. Poor smacked 6 hits in 7 at-bats to spark his club to victory. Roger Poor singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, flied out in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
