Friday, April 24th, 1970
Lee's Summit HS shortstop Jake Waters keeps on racking up hits every time he plays.

His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 3 hits at Ballpark of Austin HS today. The Keggers took the 14-9 victory over the Hammond HS Crows.

"I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Waters said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky."
Jake Waters grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.

This season in 20 games Waters is batting .407 with no home runs, 16 RBIs and has scored 24 times.
