Tellez Slaps 5 Hits Friday, April 24th, 1970 The Evanston HS Surf swept past the Southfield HS Visigoths 18-14 today at Ballpark of Tucson HS today, paced by left fielder Andy Tellez. The 18-year-old Tellez got 5 hits in 7 at-bats, helping to down the Visigoths. Andy Tellez grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
