Koetting Tags Moose Tracks for 5 Hits Saturday, April 25th, 1970 It was high-fives all around for Matt Koetting at Blue Devils Ballpark today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Gary HS Moose Tracks. Koetting smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 22-11 win. "Matt was hitting everything," said Burn manager . "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Moose Tracks manager told BNN beat writers that Koetting "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Koetting oversleeps next time." Matt Koetting grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, hit a three-run double in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
