Schaeffer Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, April 27th, 1970 What a week it was for John Schaeffer! The Racine HS left fielder took Conference 2 Player of the Week honors after wearing out the pitchers with a .647 batting average in his recent games. Schaeffer registered 11 hits in 17 at-bats as he cracked 1 home run and drove in 13 runs. This year Schaeffer has hit at a .402 pace and produced 29 RBIs, 1 home run and scored 22 runs. |
