 | Logsdon Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Thursday, February 3rd, 1972 The hot bat of Sooners third baseman David Logsdon continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 2-for-4 in today's 7-6 loss to the Trojans at Ballpark of Oakland College. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." David Logsdon grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. Presently Logsdon is batting .515 with 1 home run and 7 RBIs.
