 | Bradnock Tags Cyclones for 5 Hits Friday, February 11th, 1972 The Iowa State Cyclones might think twice next time about pitching to Marty Bradnock. At Corpus Christi College Fields today, the UCLA Bruins right fielder burned Iowa State pitching, going 5-for-6 in a 12-5 UCLA triumph. "When he's on his game," UCLA skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Marty Bradnock singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Chris Bertron in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
