 | Tigers End Kelley's Streak Sunday, March 5th, 1972 Morton Kelley of the Arizona Wildcats came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 3 at-bats for the first time in 20 games. Making matters even worse for the left fielder, Arizona dropped the game to the Missouri Tigers 5-4. "It was not a good day today," Kelley told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." To date this season Kelley is hitting .357 with 3 home runs. |   |
