 | Eichler Selected L2 Player of the Week Monday, March 6th, 1972 So far in his young career, Jeff Eichler has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the League 2 in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 18-year-old Arizona Wildcats first baseman hit at a torrid .440 clip as he collected 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Eichler is currently batting .382 with 11 home runs and 29 RBIs. |   |
