| 5-Hit Game for Logsdon Thursday, March 9th, 1972 The Arizona Wildcats might think twice next time about pitching to David Logsdon.
At Gargoyles Ballpark today, the Oklahoma Sooners third baseman burned Arizona pitching, going 5-for-5 in a 19-5 Oklahoma triumph.
"When he's on his game," Oklahoma skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded."
David Logsdon singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
Thus far this season Logsdon is hitting .405 with 1 home run, 23 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 70 hits in 173 at-bats and has played in 38 games.
