 | Grant Dominates, Whitewashes Huskies Tuesday, March 14th, 1972 Washington dropped a 4-0 shutout to Chris Grant and the Southern California Trojans at Ballpark of Washington College today. The Huskies offered little resistance to Grant, who stopped them on 3 hits, fanned 4 and walked 6. "It just felt right today," the left-handed Grant told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm." Over the season Grant has thrown 62.2 innings and dished out 43 strikeouts with a 2-6 mark and a 5.74 ERA. View Boxscore |   |
