 | L2's Top Player Named Monday, March 20th, 1972 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the League 2, but last week Tim Jacobson of the Oklahoma State Cowboys reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Jacobson rocked opposing pitching for a .522 average (12-for-23), 3 home runs and 14 RBIs to come away with the award. Jacobson is hitting .367 this year with 9 home runs and 46 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .434, 16 walks and scored 27 times. |   |
