 | Cody Batters Kentucky for 5 Hits Friday, January 26th, 1973 It was a parade of hits for Justin Cody of the Florida Gators at Forest Dragons Ballpark today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Cody finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Gators to a 10-1 victory. "Cody was really good and we were really bad," groaned Wildcats manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Justin Cody singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Neil Lloyd in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
