 | Callaway Strokes 5 Hits Tuesday, January 30th, 1973 Ron Callaway did a number on the Razorbacks in the Mississippi State 13-6 victory today, and the number was 5. The Bulldogs first baseman banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Omaha College Grounds to lead his club past the Arkansas Razorbacks. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Ron Callaway singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and hit a two-run double in the 7th.
