| Logsdon Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Wednesday, March 22nd, 1972 The Kansas State Wildcats might think twice next time about pitching to David Logsdon.
At Ballpark of Oakland College today, the Oklahoma Sooners third baseman burned Kansas State pitching, going 5-for-6 in a 8-7 Oklahoma triumph.
"When he's on his game," Oklahoma skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded."
David Logsdon singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, hit a three-run home run off Brian Harvey in the 9th and singled in the 12th.
Thus far this year Logsdon is hitting .404 with 2 home runs, 30 RBIs and 42 runs scored.
