 | Miami Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Friday, March 24th, 1972 Bob McKenzie said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Miami Hurricaines after they missed the NCAA Baseball playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Hurricaines are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team also missed qualifying for the postseason last season. |   |
