| 5-for-5 Day for DiSanto Friday, March 24th, 1972 Oregon State shortstop Jim DiSanto had a big day at Prairie Thunder Ballpark today against the Colorado Buffaloes. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," DiSanto said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."
Jim DiSanto walked in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Cody Bevis in the 8th.
