Leading the way to victory was starter Danny Woodson, who shackled the Georgia Bulldogs and held them scoreless on a 1-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Woodson said in his postgame press conference. This year Woodson has fashioned a 5-3 mark, 4.07 ERA and pitched 55.1 innings.
