 | Jensen Blanks Bears Sunday, March 26th, 1972 It wasn't easy but Danny Jensen made it look that way. Jensen silenced the Baylor Bears, 5-0, in a Oregon Ducks triumph at Comerica Park today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Jensen said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 5 walks and 5 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." This year Jensen has fashioned a 3-5 mark, 4.90 ERA and pitched 86.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .255 against him and he has logged 61 strikeouts. View Boxscore |   |
