 | SEC Choice for Batter of the Month is Baldwin Thursday, March 1st, 1973 When Jon Baldwin stepped up to the plate in February he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the South Eastern Conference Batter of the Month award. The young South Carolina right fielder posted a .289 batting average with 6 home runs, 28 RBIs and scored 22 runs. Baldwin also worked pitchers for 21 walks to post a .443 on-base percentage.
