 | Red-Hot February Lands Jenne Batting Prize in South Division Thursday, March 1st, 1973 Corey Jenne is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the LSU first baseman joined that select company when the South Division announced the results of February's voting. Jenne totaled 37 hits, 19 walks, 5 home runs, 27 RBIs and 23 runs scored last month to put together a .451 batting average and .558 on-base percentage. So far this year in 40 games Jenne is hitting .418 with 9 home runs, 40 RBIs and 46 runs scored. |   |
