 | Big Day with Bat: Schumann 5-for-6 Monday, March 27th, 1972 The Wake Forest Demon Deacons upended the Arkansas Razorbacks at Ballpark of Cleveland College today, thanks in large part to left fielder Mark Schumann, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Demon Deacons to a 12-11 victory. Mark Schumann tripled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
