 | Faugno Tosses Shutout Tuesday, April 4th, 1972 Trevor Faugno had the LSU Tigers dancing to his tune today with a sparkling 5-0 shutout performance for the North Carolina Tar Heels. He gave up 6 hits, issued 2 walks and had 5 strikeouts. LSU hitters were bewildered throughout the game by his delivery. "When you face a guy who hides the ball like he does, it takes a couple of at-bats to try to find his release point," opposing manager said. "We just never figured him out."
