The Seattle Mariners started the Semi-Finals in dominant fashion today, blowing out the visiting Milwaukee Brewers at Kingdome 1977 by a score of 11-1 and securing an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Mariners right-hander Bob Moose turned in a fine performance. He threw 9 innings of 5-hit ball.

The Brewers had little chance against Moose, who overpowered Milwaukee hitters and struck out 10.

"It feels good to get this one," Moose told the Seattle News.

The next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15th, 1947 at Milwaukee County Stadium 1976. Slated to start are Tommy John for Seattle and Atlee Hammaker for Milwaukee.
