Brewers Get Zip in 3-0 Loss to Davis

Today at Milwaukee County Stadium 1976, Mark W Davis of the Montreal Expos baffled Milwaukee Brewers batters on 5 hits en route to a 3-0 shutout.
"He was able to keep hitters off-balance and got the ball down," said Expos skipper Rich Callaghan about his starter's performance.
Davis had 13 strikeouts and 2 walks in the game.

Milwaukee Advances to FBN Championship

The Milwaukee Brewers have beaten the Seattle Mariners in the Semi-Finals, despite a strong performance from Mariners first baseman Don Mattingly.
Mattingly was given MVP honors for his performance even though his team came out on the losing end of the series.
"It's a good news, bad news thing I guess," he said. "Unfortunately the bad news is really bad -- our season is over."
Milwaukee won the final game by a score of 4-3 at Kingdome 1977 and took the series 3-1.
The Milwaukee Brewers will play against the Montreal Expos in the next round. Montreal won their series against the Los Angeles Dodgers 3 games to 1. The FBN Championship is scheduled to begin on April 19th, 1947.

Expos Win Semi-Finals

The Montreal Expos will continue the trek towards a FBN Championship title, while the Los Angeles Dodgers are headed home for the season.
Montreal won the Semi-Finals with a clinching game 3-2 victory at Olympic Stadium, concluding the series at 3-1.
"We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," Garry Templeton said after officially being named series MVP.
He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .444 batting average, .444 on-base percentage, 0 home runs, 3 RBI and 1 runs scored.
The Montreal Expos don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Milwaukee Brewers - Seattle Mariners series. Milwaukee leads the series 2 games to 1. The FBN Championship is scheduled to begin on April 19th, 1947.
