Nunez Twirls Bees to Shutout Win
Ed Nunez was impressive at Derks Field today in the Salt Lake City Bees' 6-0 shutout victory over the Portland Beavers. The Salt Lake City pitcher mystified the Beavers in a strong performance, giving up 2 hits and totaling 2 walks and 3 strikeouts.

"Ed had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves," Salt Lake City manager . "It was something special to watch."

On the season Nunez has a 7-4 record with a 2.89 ERA.
