Red-Hot Galarraga Scorches Orioles Tuesday, August 24th, 1982 It was nearly a perfect day for Andres Galarraga at Memorial Stadium 1954. Although the Toronto Blue Jays catcher was sensational at the plate, collecting 5 base hits in 8 at-bats, it just wasn't enough to keep the Blue Jays from falling to the Baltimore Orioles. Baltimore spoiled his great day at the plate by taking a 3-2 win.
