Lewis, Beavers Shut Out Cubs, 6-0 Friday, August 27th, 1982 Jim M Lewis of the Portland Beavers was one tough customer on the hill today, blanking the Tacoma Cubs 6-0 on 4 hits. "When he's on, he's tough to hit," said Tacoma manager after the game. "He's just a bulldog out there." The 26-year-old Beavers right-hander registered 6 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk and 4 hits.
