Waterbury's McCaskill Will Miss Season Thursday, August 5th, 1982 Kirk McCaskill has to call it a season. The Waterbury Rough Riders starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Manchester Fisher Cats and will not play again this year according to club doctors. McCaskill was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as shoulder inflammation and stated that he would not be able to play for 6-7 months. |
