Cline Fires Shutout in Lynn Victory Friday, August 6th, 1982 "That was one of my best outings," said Donald Cline. "I was worried a lot in the bullpen. My ball wasn't quite right. Luckily, it can be two different worlds -- the bullpen and the game. Once I stepped on the field, it all fell into place." It was an impressive start for the Sailors hurler. He blanked the Pioneers 8-0 on a strong 3-hitter while ringing up 9 strikeouts and doling out 2 walks. Thus far this season Cline has posted a 12-4 record, started 23 games, struck out 114 batters in 150 innings and compiled a 2.82 ERA. View Boxscore |
