Michael Weiermiller Injured, Out for Year Tuesday, August 31st, 1982 The season is ending on a bad note for Michael Weiermiller, starting pitcher for the Elmira Pioneers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Weiermiller was hurt against the Lynn Sailors while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn rotator cuff and will be out for at least 12 months. |
