Best Pitcher Trophy Won by Red Dragons Wilkinson Friday, September 17th, 1982 Bill Wilkinson of the Summit Red Dragons outdid his pitching peers this year and has been honored with the 1982 New York-Pennsylvania League Pitcher of the Year Award. During his remarkable year Wilkinson posted a 10-2 record in 14 starts. In 114.2 innings he yielded 68 hits and 37 walks while striking out 124 and compiling a fine 1.81 ERA.
