Just ask Mark Chafin, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Nashua HS Sun Kings closer, 16, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .140 average and walked away with the Conference 1 Pitcher of the Month award for April.
Chafin posted a 2-0 mark and a 1.17 ERA in 13 relief appearances. In 15.1 innings, he had 8 saves, 11 strikeouts, and 7 walks. | |
