 | Nightowls Chris Holt to Miss Year Tuesday, May 5th, 1970 A blow for Chris Holt today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 9 months with a broken bone in the elbow. Holt suffered the injury running the bases. Although officials from the Columbia HS Nightowls are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Holt's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This year Holt has a 1-1 mark in 6 starts with a 3.13 ERA. He has given up 26 hits in 23 innings, struck out 11 and issued 12 walks.
