 | Warwick HS First Baseman Picked SL2 Player of the Week Monday, April 6th, 1970 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Conference 2, but last week Steve Haight of the Warwick HS Mighty Mites reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Haight rocked opposing pitching for a .636 average (14-for-22), 2 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. |   |
