 | Year Over for Nightowls Crook Sunday, April 12th, 1970 Earlier today, Columbia HS reliever Brett Crook had to leave the game against Union City HS because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has radial nerve compression and will miss 4 months of play. Crook was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. To date, Crook has collected no saves in 9 relief appearances. He has rung up 4 strikeouts and 14 walks in 13 innings while registering a 6.92 ERA and a 1-0 won-lost record. |   |
