 | Hits Galore: Roundy Drills 5 Hits Sunday, April 19th, 1970 Albany HS center fielder Brian Roundy added his name to the record books with a 5-hit spree at Ballpark of Tampa HS today, but found his special moment spoiled when the New Rochelle HS Barracudas took a shootout win over the Osprey. "I would have much preferred getting only a couple of hits and winning the game," he confessed to reporters afterward. "It's hard to go back into the clubhouse and celebrate a 5-hit game when you also lost." Osprey skipper called Roundy's game "a once-in-a-lifetime moment." "It's a shame the guy can't really enjoy it," he said. "It's also a shame what happened with our pitching today, but at least that we can try to fix." Brian Roundy grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
