Tuesday, March 14th, 1972
Norm Collins continued his streak at Silly Yaks Ballpark today, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Norwalk HS right fielder was 2-for-5 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The City Hawks were not as fortunate, losing 9-4 to the Wissahickon HS Trojans.

"Collins was hitting everything we threw at him," said Wissahickon HS manager . "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win."
Norm Collins struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This year Collins has socked 32 hits in 82 at-bats for a .390 average with 1 home run. He is getting on base at a .448 pace and his totals also include 19 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
