 | Mosca Torches Dodgers for 5 Hits Sunday, February 25th, 1973 Indians shortstop Mike Mosca had his way with Madison HS pitching today at Buzz Ballpark and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Dodgers ruined his great day by toppling the Indians, 8-7. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Madison HS credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Mosca did today," Dodgers skipper said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Mike Mosca doubled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th, flied out in the 9th and singled in the 12th.
