 | Hudson's Strong Week Earns AMHS Trophy Monday, March 27th, 1972 16-year-old Dan Hudson made a few Clifton HS headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and American High School officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 21 at-bats to put up a .571 average. Hudson collected 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 9 runs. This season Hudson is batting .275 with 2 home runs. His totals include 26 RBIs and 31 runs scored. |   |
