 | Fiorenzo Has 25-Game Hitting Streak Monday, March 5th, 1973 Steve Fiorenzo of the Eden Prairie HS Eagles tagged 3 hits in today's 6-4 loss to the Huntington HS Blue Devils at Black Wolf Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 25 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 25-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Steve Fiorenzo singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, tripled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. This year Fiorenzo is batting .422 with 1 home run and 21 RBIs.
