| Dunmyer Batters Madison HS for 5 Hits Monday, March 5th, 1973 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Wissahickon HS's Chris Dunmyer made it happen today against the Dodgers. Everything came together at the plate for the 19-year-old center fielder as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Trojans to a 17-14 win at Anchors Ballpark.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Dunmyer said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
Chris Dunmyer hit an RBI single in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.
This season Dunmyer is batting .280 with 1 home run. He has scored 19 runs and driven in 16.
