Star of the Week Picked in AMHS
Monday, March 12th, 1973
It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the American High School, but last week Robert Scott of the Pawnee HS Indians reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Scott rocked opposing pitching for a .519 average (14-for-27), 4 home runs and 12 RBIs to come away with the award.

Scott is hitting .375 for the season with 8 home runs, 32 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 36 hits in 96 at-bats and played in 23 games.
